IoT-Based Solar Energy Monitoring and Data Logging System

This project combines cloud and Internet of Things technologies to develop a solar energy monitoring system that tracks and evaluates solar panel performance. Dedicated sensors are used by the system to collect data in real time on important factors such as temperature, voltage, current, and sunlight intensity. For remote access and analysis, this data is processed by an ESP8266 microcontroller and transmitted to Google Firebase. Without the requirement for on-site assistance, the system's wireless operation provides continuous monitoring. A web-based or mobile interface allows users to view the data that was collected, facilitating effective control over solar energy use. Through constant monitoring of electrical and environmental characteristics, this system assists in identifying efficiency losses based on the factors including temperature fluctuations, dirt accumulation, and shadowing. A reliable and affordable way to maximize solar energy systems for both residential and commercial uses are provided by this project.
