Project
IoT-Based Solar-Powered Automated Irrigation System
₹25.0
This project proposes to provide an effective and sustainable water management solution through the implementation of a solar-powered automatic irrigation system. By using solar panels to power a DC water pump, the system minimizes the dependence on electricity from the grid. By connecting to Google Firebase, an ESP8266 microcontroller allows for remote control and real-time monitoring using a mobile app. Important parameters are uploaded to Firebase for convenient access, including solar panel voltage, pump status, and water levels. To provide adequate crop hydration, this technology helps optimize irrigation by avoiding excess or water waste. In rural or isolated locations with erratic electrical supplies, it is especially advantageous. Through the integration of IoT technology and renewable energy, this initiative promotes economical and environmentally sustainable farming methods while increasing agricultural productivity.
