Project
IoT-Enabled Smart Solar Street Lighting System
₹25.0
The objective of this project is to promote sustainability and energy efficiency by developing an intelligent solar-powered street lighting system. Incorporating photovoltaic panels, the system collects solar energy during the day and stores it in rechargeable batteries for use at night. Real-time monitoring and remote control with Google Firebase are made possible by an ESP8266 microcontroller. A Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor modifies brightness based on motion detection, conserving energy, while a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) senses low light levels to turn on the LED lighting. Through a web interface or mobile app, users can constantly keep a watch on system performance, light intensity, and battery life. This technology reduces operating costs and grid dependency and is intended for both urban and distant areas. Through the integration of renewable energy and the Internet of Things, this project enables an eco-friendly and effective outdoor lighting system.
