IoT-Enabled Smart Home Lighting System

This project proposes to improve home automation by developing an IoT-based lighting control system. Employing a Firebase-connected ESP8266 microcontroller, the device enables users to remotely control lights in their homes through a mobile or web application. Features that ensure ease and energy efficiency include scheduling, dimming, and on/off control. The application and hardware can communicate seamlessly because of the ESP8266's ability to synchronize in real-time with Firebase. By integrating sensors, such as an LDR, illumination can be automatically adjusted according to room occupancy or ambient light levels. By lowering energy waste and providing remote access, this system's affordable and scalable design improves home lighting control and increases the effectiveness and usability of smart home automation.
