Project
IoT-Enabled Biometric Security System Using Fingerprint Authentication
₹15000.0
This project employs Internet of Things technologies to improve access control by implementing a biometric security system. A fingerprint sensor for identity verification and an ESP8266 module for wireless communication are included in the system. A user's fingerprint is scanned by the system, which compares it to information saved in Google Firebase. When authentication is successful, a relay module turns on and unlocks the door. Unauthorized attempts are recorded in Firebase, which causes the associated smartphone to receive notifications. Administrators can remotely manage authorized users, maintain updates on access logs, and operate the system with a web-based dashboard. This solution, which replaces conventional key-based techniques with biometric authentication, is designed for homes, offices, and restricted locations and provides increased security. The integration of IoT with fingerprint recognition offers a scalable and affordable solution for secure access control.
