IoT-Enabled Smart Home Surveillance System

This project utilizes a Raspberry Pi Pico W to develop an intelligent home monitoring system that improves security. When movement is detected by a Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor, a web-based interface displays real-time status updates. The system constantly checks for motion and sends authorized users a webpage that says "Motion Detected" or "No Motion" across a local network. Accurate detection is ensured by the PIR sensor, which recognizes infrared signals released by moving objects. Any device connected to the same network can access the web interface, making remote monitoring simple. This surveillance system provides a practical and efficient security solution for home applications, and it is designed to be economical and energy-efficient. To further improve security measures, the system can be improved with more sensors or functions.
