IoT-Based Digital Door Lock with Mobile Alerts

This project utilizes Internet of Things technologies to enhance door access control through the development of a smart security system. A servo motor controls an electronic locking mechanism that is operated by an ESP32 or NodeMCU microprocessor. Manual locking and unlocking are accomplished using a push button, and local notifications are provided by status indicators like an LED or buzzer. To ensure that users are informed of door activity immediately, the system uses Wi-Fi connectivity to transmit real-time alerts to mobile devices utilizing a Firebase. Enabling remote monitoring and prompt action in the event of unauthorized access attempts to strengthen security. The system provides a dependable way to secure residential and commercial spaces while enhancing accessibility and convenience due to its effective and user-friendly design.
