IoT-Integrated Smart Elderly Care and Safety System

Real-time environmental and health monitoring is provided by an IoT-integrated system in this project, which aims to improve care for elderly people. To provide continuous health tracking, the system employs an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to collect data from sensors that measure movement, body temperature, and heart rate. A safer living environment is also enhanced by environmental sensors for smoke, gas leaks, and ambient light. Through a web dashboard or smartphone application, caregivers can monitor conditions in real time through the transmission of all recorded data to Google Firebase. When dangerous environmental circumstances or unusual health readings occur, emergency warnings are automatically transmitted to notify caregivers immediately. The system places an extreme priority on dependability, cost, and ease of use. This project offers a practical way to improve senior safety, encourage independent living, and provide caregiver connectivity by utilizing IoT technology.
