IoT-Based Smart Gate Control with Video Surveillance

This project develops an intelligent security system that allows for real-time video surveillance and remote gate access. By combining an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module with a cloud-based platform such as Google Firebase, the system makes use of Internet of Things technologies to facilitate seamless communication. With the assistance of a web interface or mobile application, users can maintain vigilant tabs on the region surrounding the gate from any location by using a camera module such as the ESP32-CAM that streams live footage. Users can utilize secure cloud commands to open or close the gate because to the system's remote gate operating capability. Video feeds and real-time warnings improve security by instantly alerting users to attempts of unauthorized access. This affordable solution improves automation and security for both residential and commercial premises, providing an intelligent, user-friendly method of remote management.
