Project
Image Processing-Based Smart Energy Management System
₹18000.0
The objective of this project is to combine image processing and Internet of Things technology to optimize energy use. Using real-time image processing methods such as motion detection and frame differencing, a camera module monitors occupancy patterns. The technology dynamically regulates appliances including lights and fans based on occupancy data, making sure they only operate when necessary. Through communication with Firebase, an ESP8266 microcontroller stores appliance and occupancy data for remote access through an intuitive app. Cloud computing integration enables consumers to effectively monitor and control energy use. For improved user control, the system also has manual override capabilities. This system encourages sustainable living, decreases electricity costs, and minimizes energy waste by automating energy control. It is scalable and cost-effective, making it ideal for commercial and urban environments where energy efficiency is essential.
