Project
IoT-Based Smart Irrigation System for Water Efficiency
₹18000.0
This project uses Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to design a system that automates plant irrigation. To maintain a close watch on the environment and maximize water use, the system incorporates sensors including soil moisture and DHT11/DHT22 temperature and humidity sensors. Through the use of a relay module, the ESP8266 microprocessor evaluates sensor data and manages a water pump. Firebase stores real-time data, allowing users to remotely monitor and control irrigation using a web or mobile interface. When soil moisture reduces below a predetermined level, the system activates the pump to provide precise watering, while environmental sensors increase efficiency by taking weather conditions into account. This solution, which is suitable for home gardens or agricultural usage, saves water, lessens physical work, and promotes sustainable farming methods especially in areas with scarce water supplies.
