IoT-Based Live Human Detection Robot for Search and Rescue

This project develops a robotic system to support search and rescue efforts in the event of building collapses and earthquakes. To identify live people based on motion and heat signatures, the robot employs PIR sensors and thermal photography. For remote monitoring, it sends real-time data to Google Firebase through an ESP8266 module. The robot's durable chassis includes an ultrasonic sensor for obstacle avoidance and DC motors for navigating uneven terrain. A real-time video feed gives rescue crews visual assistance. By maintaining a smooth connection, this Internet of Things-powered device enables rescuers to obtain vital information using a mobile or online application. A reliable method of improving the effectiveness of disaster response, the robot is lightweight, inexpensive, and designed for hazardous circumstances.
