Design and Development of Turboshaft Engine for Helicopter

In this project, a working model of a turboshaft engine for use in helicopters is designed and developed. The gas generator, power turbine, and reduction gearbox all of which are made of 3D-printed materials which are included in the engine model. Rotational energy is produced by the device through a simulated fuel combustion mechanism. Through a power transmission system, the project demonstrates how turboshaft engines deliver energy to helicopter rotors. Temperature, RPM, and efficiency are all tracked by sensors. Hands-on experience with turbine technology and its incorporation into rotorcraft is offered by the project. The results of the study demonstrate the significance of turboshaft engines in providing helicopters with accurate control and effective vertical lift.
