Project
Design and Development of Nozzle Performance Test Stand
₹23000.0
The development of a test stand for assessing jet engine nozzle performance under varied operating conditions is the primary objective of this project. The stand has sensors to measure temperature, pressure, and force and is constructed from lightweight materials. Convergent and divergent nozzle designs are among the adjustable nozzle configurations that are 3D-printed to evaluate their performance under regulated airflow. By simulating engine conditions, a small airflow generator makes it possible to get precise data on flow patterns and efficiency. The research demonstrates how jet engine power and fuel economy are impacted by nozzle design. Individuals acquire a knowledge of thrust generation, expansion dynamics, and the crucial role nozzles play in engine performance through this practical method. The results aid in nozzle design optimization for a range of operational requirements and atmospheric conditions.
