Hydraulic Flood Protection System for Homes

A hydraulic flood prevention system is being developed as part of this project to protect dwellings from flooding caused by heavy rains or rising water levels. When flood conditions are identified, a hydraulic barrier that is part of the system immediately activates. The hydraulic pump, which raises the barrier to prevent water intrusion, is activated by a sensor-based water level monitoring system. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant materials are used in the barrier's construction to ensure its longevity and effectiveness. To assess the system's responsiveness, load-bearing capability, and dependability, testing is done under flood-simulation conditions. Smart sensors and hydraulic technologies are used in this project to effectively reduce flood-related housing damage.
